Accessing the task editor

  • Loading tasks: When you first accept an assignment you will see a loading bar next to the 'Enter editor' button. As part of our security measures we render (create) individual and personalised videos for each and every person accessing content on the Zille Platform. This process can take some time, but should generally complete within 10 minutes. If your task has not become available within 15 minutes of accepting an assignment then do please get in touch with technical support.
  • Waiting tasks: Sometimes a task will not yet be scheduled for completion. This could for example be because another person needs to complete an earlier task in the same project. You will see the expected start time of your task on the individual task cards. On occasion there might be a delay elsewhere in the project which means that the task is still not available after the expected start time.
  • Accessing tasks: Once your video has successfully been created you will be able to click on the 'Enter editor' button. This will take you through to either the Zille Subtitle Editor or the Zille Audio Description Editor, depending on the task at hand. From here you will be able to complete your work.
  • Completing tasks: Once you have completed your work in the editor it is important that you click on the 'Complete task' button in the top-right corner of the editor to ensure it is marked as done in the system. Not clicking this button when your work is complete could lead to delays in other parts of the project.

Completed Assignments

Once a task has been completed you will no longer be able to make edits to it. The assignment will still be available to view from your Assignments page, where individual tasks will be marked as Done.
