Time-code editing

To update the time-code of an event you must first navigate to that event on the timeline. You will know when your event is selected as it will be highlighted in green.

From here there are three options for updating the start and end times of an event:

  1. Select the start or end-time of the event on the timeline to drag and drop to your preferred time-code.
  2. Use the Update event start and Update event end hotkeys after positioning the video at the preferred new time-code.
  3. Alternatively, you can click on the time-codes to the right of the scripting panel and either type in your preferred time-code or click 'Set to current time'.

NB: If the audio panel of an event is open then that event will remain selected even as you navigate to a different part of the timeline. If you wish to exit the event then you must close down the audio panel.
