In the top-right corner of the event browser there are two options:
- Syncronize to video: This will make the event browser progress your position in time with the video playing.

You can then click the '+ New event' button or use the New Event Hotkey and a new event will appear within the selected point on the timeline.

-
Orange: These events have been flagged.

Zille saves all changes immediately when they are made. When a change is made, the indicator will display Saving... for a few seconds, and then confirm by displaying Saved.
Users should ensure an internet connection is maintained in order not to risk any loss of work.

You can choose which events to display by clicking on 'All events' and selecting from the following options:
- All events: This will display all events within the subtitle track.
- Changed events: This will only display events which have been changed between the two versions you are viweing.
- Identical events: This will only display events which are identical between the two versions you are viweing.
You can also choose if you want to display both target and source events, or just one of them.
Zille automatically saves a version of your track every ten minutes if changes are occuring, and you can save a version yourself as well by clicking on the 'Version+' button in the top-right corner.
Versions will automatically save with a title indicating the time and date they were created on.
If you click on the title then you can rename it, and you will then be able to filter which versions you see by selecting 'Named versions' from the drop-down menu above the list of versions. This can be helpful if there is a large number of versions created and you have a particular interest in just a few of them.
Personalisation
You can personalise your editor by selecting Comments, Issues, Glossery, Version history or Event browser and dragging and dropping them between the two highlighted boxes on the toolbar. This will then change where the side panels appear on your screen.
Complete task
When you have finished your work within the editor you can click on 'Complete task' in order to mark the task as completed.
Once you mark a task as complete the project manager will immediately be notified and the editor will close down. You will no longer have access to the editor, unless the project manager has given you extended access.
